Pedro Martinez, born Oct. 25, 1971 in Manoguayabo, Dominican Republic, is a righthander pitcher currently playing for the Philadelphia Phillies. Martinez has earned numerous awards over his 18-year career including three Cy Young awards (1997, 1999, 2000) and eight All-Star selections. He has played for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1992-93), Montreal Expos (1994-97), Boston Red Sox (1998-2004), New York Mets (2005-2008) and Philadelphia Phillies (2009-Present) in his career.
