    <strong>I really can't argue with those who want Adam Dunn placed on the disabled list because he seems to have no confidence with the bat, and his poor performance is really hurting the team.  Extra time in the minors for Adam might be what he needs to regain confidence off of the big stage.   Also consistent with the concept of playing time based on performance, Gordon Beckham also should be reassigned back to Triple-A along with Dunn.  Why are we giving them so many chances by rewarding them with playing time when they are not producing?  All other lines of works get rewarded for performance, but why doesn&quot;t this basic concept apply to the White Sox?</strong> Ed Lasak, Riverside, Calif.
