    Phillies Ballgirl candidates will showcase their on-field and on-camera talent in hopes of becoming a Phillies Ballgirl. Tryouts will test the candidates’ physical abilities, knowledge of baseball and interpersonal skills.   21. Wee Willie Webber Dies at 80

    Philadelphia radio and WPHL legend Bill "Wee Willie" Webber died Sunday.  According to family members Webber died of a heart attack. Webber worked for several stations throughout the Delaware Valley since 1954 but was best known as host of "The Wee Willie Webber Show" --a children's cartoon show on WPHL-TV (Channel 17).  Webber was also on radio as a disc jockey on WIP for more than 20 years. He also was an announcer on shows on WPEN and, until the time of his death, WHAT Radio.
