In Tyler Perry's House of Payne, Demetria McKinney plays Janine Payne, the ex-wife of CJ Payne and mother to Malik and Jazmine. Janine hit a rough patch when she became a drug addict. Not only did her addiction burn down her family's house, but it spiraled her down a path that took her away from her husband and kids. Eventually with the help of Ella, Janine was able to kick her habit and right her life. Now that she's heading in the right direction, Janine has reconciled with the Paynes and has moved into Ella and Curtis' home who are also housing her ex-husband and kids.
