In Tyler Perry's House of Payne, Cassi Davis plays loving and devotedly religious Ella Payne, the queen of the male-dominated Payne household. Ella lets it be known that all are welcome in her house. She uses her religious foundation to help those who are down and out, including members of her family. She continues to frequently nurture her collegiate son, much to the dismay of her husband.
