Tyler Perry's House of Payne is a comedy series that hails from playwright, director and producer Tyler Perry. The show revolves around a multi-generational family living under one roof in Atlanta and the often hectic and humorous situations the family finds themselves in. "Curtis," played by LaVan Davis is the uncle and head of the household who wants nothing more than some peace and quite in his home. That thought goes out the door when unexpected circumstances force his nephew CJ, played by Allen Payne and CJ's kids to move in with him and his wife Ella. Curtis and Ella's son , "Calvin," a college student who barely spends time in his own apartment, can be found in the mix of the newly formed household. The chaotic living situation begins to take a toll on Curtis but the family tries to find a way to coexist through life's ups and downs.
