Organized by the late Peter A. Broomall in 1930, the Broomall String Band is one of the oldest string bands in existence today. The band was originally organized and located in South Philadelphia. Then in the early 1970's the club moved across the Delaware River to National Park, New Jersey, where they can be found today.
