PHL17 and the Phillies Achieve Historic Ratings

PHILADELPHIA – PHL17,the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, is proud to announce that Saturday’s 7:05p.m. Phillies/Cardinals game (September 17th) was the highest rated Saturday game in the last five seasons, while Friday’s 7:05p.m. Phillies/Cardinals match-up (September 16th) registered the highest Friday game ratings since the team clinched the National League East Championship in 2007.
 
In Nielsen ratings, Saturday’s game averaged a 13.4 household rating, with a 9.0 Adult 25-54 rating, which ties the record set on August 23rd for the highest rating in the demo.  The historic viewership continued in Saturday’s game which averaged a 13.7 household rating and peaked at an 18.6 household rating at 10p.m.  This marked the highest rated Saturday game in the last five seasons.

On average Friday night, 413,167 homes each quarter hour tuned in to watch the Phillies and Cardinals play in an 11 inning nail biter.  The next night, an average of 404,120 homes each quarter hour watched the Phillies clinch their 5th straight National League East Division Championship.
 
PHL17’s next telecast will be this Friday at 7:10p.m against the New York Mets.
