PHL17 and Phillies Set New Ratings Record
PHL17 AND PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES SET A NEW RATINGS RECORD

PHILADELPHIA – PHL17, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, is proud to announce that yesterday's 4:05 p.m. Phillies/Giants game on PHL17 achieved a record-breaking household rating for a regular season telecast.

In Nielsen ratings, yesterday's game averaged a 15.9 household rating, with a 29.5 household share, breaking the previous record of 15.4 from this season's June 28th telecast, also on PHL17. This marks the third time this season PHL17 and the Phillies have broken a regular season ratings record.

On average, 479,515 homes each quarter hour tuned in to watch the Phillies take a season high 9 game winning streak into yesterday's matchup against the San Francisco Giants. Despite the loss, the Phillies took the series 3 out of 4 games this weekend against the defending 2010 World Series Champions.

PHL17's next telecast will be this Sunday at 1:35pm against the Washington Nationals, which is also the final day of the Phillies Alumni Weekend festivities.
